I am a Shih Tzu breeder and have been raising beautiful
purebred Shih Tzus in this place for almost eleven years now.
I love the breed and what I do. My puppies are not raised in a
kennel, but in my home and under my feet at all times; and yes
I burn out a carpet cleaner about once a year. They are held
and played with from day one. I strive for excellent quality in
breed standards as well as personality. I am licensed by the
County of Monterey, California and can provide you with that
information upon request.
If you are not familiar with the Shih Tzu, then begin by
going to the About Shih Tzus page. If you would like to
contact me just click on the Contact Ruthie link and an email
box will open. Puppies for sale are found on the Available
Males and Available Females pages. A deposit of $250 is
required to hold a puppy. I must receive the deposit within
seven days or the puppy will go back on the market. Deposits
are refundable if something is found to be wrong with the
puppy's health. They are not refundable if you back out on
the sale. You can, however, transfer them to another puppy
that I have. Please do not ask me to hold a puppy without a
deposit: I will not! You can pay with a credit card if you go
through .
All puppies go home having seen the Vet, been wormed,
up to date on shots and with a one year guarantee against
congenital defects. If there is a health problem found within
seven days of the puppy's going home, I will reimburse you
for treatment after reviewing the Vet's records. I am now
removing the dew claws on my puppies, as well. Shipping is
available within the Continental United States. The cost of
shipping is the actual cost including mileage to and from the
airport. The airlines will not ship a Shih Tzu if the
temperature is over 75 or under 45 degrees at any stop. If
you would like to be placed on a waiting list for an upcoming
litter, please contact me. There is no charge or obligation.

chickens, peacocks, feral cats, mountain lions, steelhead
trout, bobcats, foxes, badgers and God only knows what else.

help but feel the pull toward a rebirth when visiting this
place. The local Native Americans had a village on this
property more than two hundred years ago, and their
presence is still felt today.

| We breed for quality: shorter, cobby little bodies; high rounded foreheads, big round eyes and luscious thick coats; as well as, loving playful personalities. You can pay more, but you will never get better quality! I will not give breeding rights on any puppy that does not meet my standards for breeding. |
